This horizontal gate is part of the SwiftGate family of products. The HSG-18CW Horizontal SwiftGate Crashworthy (18′) pivots horizontally and offers increased visibility using a high surface of reflective material and LED lighting. The gate has been crash tested to NCHRP 350 requirements and its arm design provides strength, flexibility, and durability. Manufactured with corrosion-resistant materials, the HSG-18CW is designed to withstand harsh roadside conditions and weather environments.
Operation and integration are made easy with the Versilis’ Communication and Integration Solutions which offers different communication options to allow gates to be operated, monitored, and sequenced, locally and remotely.
The SwiftGate HSG-18CW can be used for various permanent applications. Optional communication components allow for different operation modes adapted to specific project requirements. Permanent applications can use solar or AC/DC external power sources. Contact a Versilis representative for more details.
The SwiftGate HSG-18CW can be used for temporary work zone lane closures using a solar panel as the external power source and an RF handheld remote control for operation and monitoring. Temporary applications require no wiring for ease of installation and quick relocations.
View SwiftSign and SwiftGate HSG-18CW in action at the 22nd ITS World Congress in Bordeaux (2015). This temporary demonstration setup helps you visualize the deployment of the SwiftSign followed by the deployment of a taper of SwiftGates. All devices are then retracted.
