The Versilis Communication Solutions are specifically designed for the Transportation Industry, allowing roadway operators and maintenance contractors to easily activate and monitor a variety of ITS Field Devices, such as Automated Gates, Advance Warning Signage, and more, from a safe local position in the field, or remotely from a Traffic Management Center or mobile phone/tablet.
For all applications, having some form of Local Control of ITS Field Devices is essential. Versilis offers 2 Local Communication Solutions:
The Versilis Handheld Remote Control is a versatile and powerful wireless device used to send commands and monitor ITS Field Devices from a safe local position in the field. It also serves as a troubleshooting and configuration tool for in-field maintenance.
* Verifications recommended for use in proximity of Tolling equipment.
Easily mounted in a local ITS Field Cabinet, this multi-purpose Commander Assembly allows local control of ITS Field Device groups, using push buttons. The assembly also allows for different remote capability options based on the implementation scale. These options include: Single Web Page, ITS Central, and NTCIP Client Interface.
Commander Key Features:
The Versilis single web page solution is well suited to control and monitor ITS Field Devices belonging to a single location. The web page is hosted in the Versilis Commander.
Versilis’ ATMS solution – ITS Central – is a versatile, map-based advanced traffic management system (ATMS), capable of integrating a variety of ITS Field Devices (Versilis devices, traffic sensors, cameras, VMS etc.) located at various locations. The solution can also integrate a large number of internal data sources and external open data sources.
Clients wanting to integrate Versilis Devices into their Traffic Management Software can easily do so using the Versilis Commander NTCIP Interface. TMC Software development effort is simplified as the Commander is already programmed to hold the grouping and sequencing logic between devices and groups of devices.
